Choir singing in Slovenia, especially in the municipalities of Šmartno pri Litija and Litija, contributes well to the preservation of the cultural heritage and identity of the nation. Slovenians love to sing and, if not before, in a period when children grow up a little, when the dynamics at work calm down a bit or after retirement, we want a middle ground where we could live out the joy of singing.
Culinary and pleasant socializing for the whole family was the guiding principle of the Strawberry and Asparagus Day event, which will take place on Sunday, May 29, 2022 in the village of Breg pri Litija. Breg pri Litija is two kilometers from Litija, and 40 kilometers from Ljubljana. In a good half hour drive from the capital, you can enjoy fresh air and local delicacies in the countryside.
On Saturday, April 2, 2022, we invite you to the Heart of Slovenia for the 17th hike along the Jablaniška path, organized by the Association for Rural Development Laz from Jablaniška dolina (Šmartno pri Litija). All already hardened hikers, as well as beginner hikers, are invited to the hike, as our circular route is not demanding.
