From 10:00 a.m., at the event, which will be held for the twelfth time this year at the fire station in Breg pri Litija, you will be able to try delicious asparagus dishes and strawberry desserts. Culinary pleasures will be complemented by fresh roasted meat from the grill. You will also be able to buy fresh strawberries and asparagus.
Locals will present local delicacies and products of domestic and artistic crafts at the stands. Like everything at the event, the music will be ‘homemade’. All visitors will be able to see the restored collection of Sava pebbles, to which we have added a collection of birds that live in the Sava river basin.
The event is organized by the Society for Rural Development LAZ.

The charming village of Breg pri Litija has long been known for its production of extremely tasty strawberries and asparagus. Strawberries and asparagus grow well along the Sava River. In the village of Breg pri Litija, which is located a little further from Litija towards Zagorje, . For this purpose, the Laz Rural Development Association organizes an event every year, which is attended by thousands of visitors, which celebrates these two delicious fruits. This year’s 12th in a row promises to be particularly interesting.
The event starts at 10 a.m. on the lawn near the fire station in Breg (address: Tenetiše2, 1270 Litija).
The co-creators of this year’s event will provide a variety of events throughout the day. In addition to the well-known tastings of a variety of asparagus dishes and strawberry desserts, visitors will be able to walk at the stands of various craftsmen who will enrich the offer at the event, and invite you to create unique products. The neighboring Paternoster homestead will also be interesting to visit.
Visitors to this year’s event will also be able to see the renovated permanent collection of Sava pebbles in the GD fire station, which was supplemented by the exhibition Collections of birds from our environment.
Animation will also be provided for the youngest, who will be able to play on the children’s playground.
