Just like last year, we at the LAZ association joined the entire Slovenian campaign Summer Museum Nights, when museums, collections and galleries across Slovenia open their doors to all visitors free of charge. In addition to watching a film about the creation of the collection, two lectures, you will be able to listen to the well-chosen singing of local singers of ŽPZ Laz under the village lime tree.
Program:
8:00 p.m. Lecture Mr. Jablaniški (Tim Šteferl)

Throughout history, many noble families have appeared in Slovenian lands. One of the oldest and most remarkable on our soil was the Apfaltrer family, which is first mentioned in Carniola in the 13th century. Perhaps it is even more interesting for the locals, as their mother castle stood in the immediate vicinity of Litija in the Middle Ages.
21:00 Cultural program (ŽPZ Laz)

The Laz Women’s Choir was founded in 2011 and, after only a few months of activity, enriched the events in the local Jablaniška Valley by singing. In addition to Slovenian choral songs, the choir’s program includes choral arrangements of evergreen songs.
22:00 travel lecture West America (Tjaša Kozlevčar)

Tjaša Kozlevčar will present her experiences on working holidays in the USA. It will take us through twelve national parks and four big cities. Tjaša spent the summer of 2015/16 together with her friends in the cowboy town of Jackson Hole, then drove the west coast of the USA and flew to the east, to New York.
Free entry and you are cordially invited!
