Lecture “Harvesting and storing vegetables”

The Society for Rural Development Laz invites you to an interesting lecture, which will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the fire station in Zg. Jablanica 1, 1275 Šmartno pri Litija.
From the Ljubljana Agricultural and Forestry Institute, Ms. Ana Ogorelec, who is an expert and specialist in vegetable growing will visit us. She has been researching, advising and educating in the field of vegetable production for many years.

At the lecture, Ms. Ana Ogorelec will present the process of proper storage of vegetables. We will touch on the topic of the correct conditions for storage, freezing and pickling. We will talk about how to prevent premature ripening, aging and drying of crops.
