The hike along the Jablanica trail is a circular route about 16 km long, where hikers overcome a 450 m height difference and usually walk it in 4 to 5 hours. The route is suitable for experienced hikers as well as beginners and families.
Where will your path lead you?
The route starts at the fire station in Zgornja Jablanica and passes the church of St. Ane and continues through the forest to Jablaniške Laz. There, hikers can make their first stop at the PR farmGustelnu. The path will then take you past the old fruit drying room. By continuing the route and following the markings, you will reach Prelesje, where there is a control point, wonderful views and nature. On the farm PRDomestic delicacies will await you in Kavc. You will continue your journey to Mamolje and the church of St. John the Baptist. By following the markings, the path will lead you to Zelenac. From here you only have to climb to the Church of St. Mary Magdalene and the descent to the village of Gradišče pri Litija.
At the finish line of the Jablaniška path, in the yard of the eco farm PRKokol will not lack good food, drinks, music and a rich cultural program. Eco farm PR will take care of homemade delicaciesKokol and Domačija Vovk, and to conclude, the LAZ association. Upon returning to the starting point, visit the Domačija pomominov pri Samčevih, where you will be able to see old family photos and preserved antiques.
Why spend the last Saturday in March in our company?
Because on the 21st hike along the Jablaniška path we will meet old friends and acquaintances again, make new acquaintances, enjoy nature, beautiful views and socialize with friendly locals.

Start: between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., at the fire station in Zg. apple tree
(Zgornja Jablanica 1, 1275 Šmartno pri Litija – possibility of parking).
Destination: Gradišče pri Litija, short cultural program at 12:30 p.m.
The way to the starting point in Zg. Jablanica is a good 20-minute walk from the finish line in Gradišče (circular route).

Transportation option: We will also organize transport for you this year from the railway station in Litija.
