We will celebrate the round anniversary with a varied cultural program and the awarding of awards On Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the cultural center in Šmartno at Litija.
In 2004, the inhabitants of the picturesque villages from the right bank of the Sava River, along the Jablaniška stream and the Reka stream, joined forces for the first time and founded the Laz association, and since then we have been improving the quality of living in the Jablaniška valley.
Throughout all the years of active activity of the association, we organized many events, get-togethers and meetings that have become traditional. We also still place great emphasis on cooperation with local farmers, the tourist offer and bringing together the residents of the Jablaniška Valley.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the operation of the LAZ association, at the celebratory event on our holiday, we want to show what we have achieved and experienced in these years, and we are also happy to look to the future and build new plans.
The award ceremony will be enriched with a cultural program: the vocal group Triad, KUD Folklore group Javorje and the Women’s Choir LAZ. The keynote speaker will be the vice-president of the Tourist Association of Slovenia, Mr. Jože Prah.
We kindly invite all visitors to join us on our jubilee.
You are welcome.
