Fortified hikers, families, as well as beginner hikers are invited to the hike. Take a walk along the pleasant forest paths and slopes of the circular Jablaniška path, which is 16 km long.
Hikers can register from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the fire station in Zgornja Jablanica, Šmartno pri Litija. The symbolic registration fee is €3.00.
The organizers will provide a traditional Jablanica breakfast, which contains morning coffee or tea, ‘štrukeljc’ or other homemade cakes. We recommend that you take an apple with you and set off.

In Zgornja Jablanica, at the fire station, where there is an information board, go up the hill past the church of St. Anne, which is interesting to visit, and further through the forest to Jablaniške Laz, where you can make your first stop.
When you get to the plain, the locals from the PR farm will be friendly to youGustelno offered something to eat. When you continue your journey, you will notice on the right side the old fruit drying room, which used to be an indispensable facility in every house due to its strong fruit tradition.
Follow the markings and you will arrive in the village of Prelesje, where in good weather your eye can reach far across our homeland. You have arrived at the control point, where you will be able to stamp the hiking cards you received at the start in Jablanica.
On the farm Pr’Kavc will offer you several types of potica and homemade bread. The path will then take you to Mamolje and to the church of St. John the Baptist. Or you will choose a slightly shorter path, which is also marked and avoid part of the paved road. The apple mark will then take you to Zelenac, where you can quench your thirst at Oblak.
The only thing waiting for you is the ascent to the church of St. Mary Magdalene and then the descent to the village of Gradišče. There they will take care of you at the PR eco farmKokol and the Vovk homestead. The latter organizes camps for children during the summer.
Before descending into the valley, stop at the Samec homestead of memories, where you can see old family photos and preserved antiques.
It’s just under half an hour to the village of Zg. apple tree. In the middle of the village, see the old Majčevo granary, where crops are still stored today. By returning to the fire station in Jablanica, you will close a path that measures 16 km and has a 300 m height difference.

You can get to Zgornja Jablanica from several directions:
From Dolenjska via Bogenšperk and in Šmartne near the church towards Gabrovka and before Cerovica, turn left towards the fire station in Zg. Jablanica – and above it you can see the church of St. Anne.
From the direction of Ljubljana, you pass through Litija and after two kilometers you will meet those who come along the Zasavska cesta from the direction of Trbovel, turn into the village of Breg at the greenhouse along the main road and continue along the Jablaniška valley in the direction of Gabrovka – after three You are at the starting point of the hike for kilometers.
