The Jablaniška narrative is the title of a project carried out in 2010 by girls between the ages of 15 and 30.
The young people visited the elderly villagers in the Jablanica valley and wrote down their stories from their youth, jokes and customs in various life situations, recipes for typical home-made dishes and the like. They also spent a lot of time researching old house names.
Šmartno pri Litija Elementary School was also involved in the project. The students researched the celebration and the typical custom of offering, which they presented to their classmates and wards in the Tisje home.
We edited the notes in the booklet Jablanica Narrative, which the girls presented in libraries in Litija and Šmartne pri Litija.
