The NGO Hub of Central Slovenia provides a supportive environment for NGOs in the region and, through its activities, contributes to improving the strategic position of NGOs in the Central Slovenia region.
The project aims to provide a supportive environment for NGOs from 25 municipalities in the Central Slovenia region with the aim of strengthening the capacity of NGOs for advocacy, NGO organizational development and the provision of public services. The project strengthens the awareness and comprehensive competence of NGOs to meet local needs and encourages cross-sectoral networking and cooperation between organizations and strengthens the sustainability and competence of NGOs for an active role in solving local needs and problems.
The junction advocates transparency, creativity, ethics, social responsibility, excellence, focus on strengthening knowledge and tolerance. Through its activities, it aims to respond to the needs of the sector in the local environment and empower them to assume an equal role in the development of the local community.
The hub promotes volunteering in NGOs, the inclusion of NGOs in active employment policies, the strengthening of cross-sector partnerships, especially in the field of cohesion policy implementation, and carries out various organized campaigns and promotional activities, all with the aim of strengthening the regional non-governmental sector.
