On Sunday, November 27, the Jablaniška valley smelled of štrukeljci. The scents were complemented by local herbal spirits.
Investments – New to the event
The evaluation committee consisting of Darja Povše, Helena Perko and Magda Laslo for štrukeljce and Martin Hostnik, Jože Juvan and Brane Šuštaršič for herbal brandy thoroughly analyzed each sample. The purpose of the evaluation is to check and raise the quality of the culinary specialties of the Jablaniška Valley, which in the future can serve us as a recognizable tourist offer in the narrower area.

Since we want to upgrade the Dobrote dobrote event in the Jablaniška dolina association, this year we decided to add a new topic, namely the investment. The housewives brought their investments to the event, where they were exhibited and everyone present could taste them at the end. In the educated part of the program, we were joined by Mrs. Mateja Tea Dereani, who lectured us on the correct combinations of eating, food storage, pickling and fermentation.
The young harmonica player Peter Ponebšek joined us as part of the cultural program.

The response of the participants of the event was positive, so we are sure that next year we will repeat the event and build on it.
