‘A trip is the only thing you buy and it makes you richer’, says Tjaša Kozlevčar, who on Friday 17 March 2017 presented her work experience in the USA, which she performed through the Work Experience Ccusa program, intended for students under the age of 29.

Tjaša spent the summer of 2015/16 in the cowboy town of Jackson Hole, where she performed various jobs in the tourism sector, and then traveled along the west coast of the USA with her friends for a month. ‘Such a form of work is a great way to combine work and travel, and at the same time meet a bunch of new friends from all over the world’, says Tjaša, who would recommend the experience to everyone who wants to travel and at the same time earn money.

The LAZ Association encourages young people to exchange and experience abroad by participating in and organizing youth exchanges, which are an important source of informal learning. Young people thus gain experience participating in an international team, improve their social and communication skills and acquire new knowledge. As part of the association, young groups have already participated in a youth exchange in Sicily, on the topic of racism, on an exchange in Latvia on the topic of manual skills, and the association itself has already organized an exchange that took place in Breg pri Litija on the topic of a self-sufficient village.
