On Thursday, October 20, 2016, a diverse group of our members gathered at the fire station in Zgornja Jablanica, who came to listen to Matija Anželjec’s lecture on the production of organic soap using a cold process. The cold process means that the soap should not be heated above 60 degrees Celsius, so the soap keeps the glycerin.
The head of the workshop, Matic Anželjc, is also a natural way of life researcher and a nature lover. In his research, he studied various methods of detoxifying the body and making cosmetic products in a natural way. He also briefly presented his findings to us.
After the introductory part, the lecturer urged the participants to decorate the silicone containers, where the liquid soap was poured as desired, and add their favorite fragrances and dried flowers to their taste. At the end of the workshop, the participants took this soap home. The participants were very enthusiastic about the workshop itself.
