Saturday, April 2, 2016, Jablaniška dolina was in the spirit of the already traditional 13th hike along the Jablaniška path. A crowd of hikers was greeted by a smiling group of volunteers from the ranks of the Laz association, who was once again the organizer of the hike.
The extremely good weather allowed the easy 15-kilometer long route to be dry and very pleasant, which was also shown in the good will of many hikers.
This year’s offer was slightly curtailed, as the introduction of tax offices made it impossible for some authentic domestic offers along the way. However, all the shortcomings were dispelled at the finish line in Gradišče pri Litija, where stand-up comedian Blaž Babič entertained those present, and the dedicated members of the Laz Women’s Choir sang to them. They were also played by young accordion players, who are a specialty of our hike, as they have been following it since the very beginning.
On the way back to the valley, the hikers enthusiastically viewed the renovated exhibition Home of Souvenirs, which this year is entitled Travels and is available for viewing throughout the year after prior notice.
