In order to bring the permanent collection of pebbles closer to the locals, as well as to visitors from elsewhere, which we have been taking care of since 2009, this year we have prepared a program for the second time from 6 to 2 p.m., just like most museums and collections in Slovenia. This year, Summer Night coincided with the Open Door Weekend in the municipality of Litija. We invited to the event at the morning community festival in front of the sports hall in Litija.
We showed the visitors a film about the creation of a collection of pebbles and presented them with our unique collection in a popular way. Entry was free.
Due to the rain, we moved the evening cultural program from the playground at the fire station under the roof to the neighboring Paternoster tourist farm. We expected more visit but the atmosphere was happy late into the night. Valvasor Octet and Laz Women’s Choir at first they sang on stage, and then together at a common table, accompanied by accordion virtuosos – Markot Krebs, Uroš Hauptman and Acot Možina.
